The Ultimate Healthy Living Bundle is COMING SOON! I am so excited to see what they have put together this year. This will be my 3rd Bundle. In one bundle, there is probably more information and books than you will EVER need, but it comes at a price that is TOO irresistible.! Last year, I took advantage of a $95 essential oil class, and I paid no where near that for the whole bundle. So the bonuses alone could well be worth it. No mention of prices yet though, but here is a link to a little freebie to get your pinky toe wet.
Here are a few goodies from some promos they offered last year. I paid a small amount for shipping and got GREAT stuff! Unfortunately I did not jump on the promos as fast as I should have because choices were picked over. You definitely want to get on that if you want to make the most of your promos. I chose a smoothie straw from Strawsome. I chose an amber bracelet; it was from a mom site and you can use it for teething babies. I don't have tiny babies, but it has other properties that are suppose to benefit the body. I love the MadeOn hard lotion items. I loved them enough that I have been eyeballing her ebooks to buy. The Home Grown Collective was cool; it was a DIY kit and I chose lavender scrub to make. Anyway, (like Martha Stewart says,) GOOD THINGS!
I am loving my new adventure with Juice Plus+. It falls right into my whole foods lifestyle with A LOT of convenience. I have added 17 fruits and veggies to my diet without having to go to the grocery store, wash, peel, dice, chop, cook etc. How exciting is that!!
Even my 6 yr. old is picking up on what mom deems as healthy. He does not always make good food choices, but at least he recognizes that Juice Plus+ is part of my healthy daily choice.
Here he was pretending to be a doctor. He was listening to my heartbeat, and checking my pulse. I played along. "Can you hear my heart doc?" "Am I still alive?" He is much better at imaginative play than I am. So I ask him, "Doc what is the diagnosis? And he puts his finger up to his face as if he was thinking of what my diagnosis could be. "WAIT! Hold that pose I need a picture." The look was "classic doctor thought." Then he just had to see how he looked. Granted he could have just looked in the mirror, but in this day and age, who needs a mirror when you pack a camera around with you every where, and mom is always snapping pictures.
Once we get all the cute stuff out of the way, I come back with "Dr. Ez, what is it that you recommend," and he went to the kitchen and came back with my "vitamins," and he said to me in his best doctor voice, which kinda sounded foreign "You need to take your vitamins." And of course, I had to whip out the camera again, because now he is my little poster child for Juice Plus+. My first thought was (after the cuteness and awe of him bringing me the vitamins) was, Dr. Oz, LOOK OUT, Dr. Ez is in the house!
One of the many awesome things about Juice Plus+ is that they haven't just catered to adults which many of the companies do, and when they do cater to kids, you end up with ingredients you don't want to give to your child. One is a ton of sugar (which can counter effect the nutrition you are putting in), and another is RED 40 (which is a neuro-toxin), and other food colorings and additives, and if you do find something you like, sometimes the price isn't quite right.
Obiviously what he is holding is for the older crowd. Juice Plus+ does make chewables, and yes, it will contain a few other things or else it would not be chewable nor would it taste very good, BUT when you purchase capsules for you, and you participate in the Children's Health Study, you can receive a 4 month order for your child (1), or any child (1) FREE. That is an amazing thing! Unless you become a member, you will actually have to speak with me directly to get your order placed. Don't worry, I am not scary. =) Just waiting to change everyone's lives for the better with more fruits and veggies. =)
So listen to Dr. Ez and eat, er I mean take your fruits and veggies everyday. See and feel the difference added NUTRITION can make.

Here's to your health!
How to get those servings of fruits and veggies the easy way!
I hope to find that you are doing awesome! I just wanted to share that I have added to my repertoire of healthy habits and natural "medicine." Please read to the end to find out how you can receive nutrition for your child - free - even if they are in college. How exciting for once, that you can afford nutrition for you AND your child for less than some bottles of water per day. ($1.50 & $2.50)
Are you (and your children) getting the recommended amount of fruits and veggies per day? Probably Not! I know how hard it is to get the recommended 7-13 servings per day. Most people only get 3. Fruits and veggies are vital to maintain health and ward off diseases. Here is a link to a Harvard Nutritional Source Page for further reading.
Even I, as a food coach and huge advocate of fruits and veggies, I have a hard time getting them all in whether it be because of time or pure laziness. So due to these struggles I have found something I very much approve of (as does my holistic chiropractor) because it is made from whole foods, not anything synthetic. You could call them vitamins, but they are not what you know as vitamins, you could call them supplements, but still not what you know. It is so much simpler...it is JUST fruits and veggies in a capsule - total food nutrition!
Juice Plus+ provides the nutrition from 25 fruits, vegetables, berries and grains
Juice Plus+ is not a vitamin supplement providing a limited number of handpicked nutrients. Juice Plus+ is a whole food based product providing the wide array of nutrients found in variety of fruits, vegetables and grains.
It's the next best thing to fruits and veggies because we don't get nearly enough of the real thing everyday; it bridges the gap!
The many healthful benefits of Juice Plus+ have been demonstrated through numerous independent clinical published research studies conducted in leading hospitals (including BYU, Vanderbilt and Georgetown) and investigators around the world.
Taking Juice Plus+ capsules everyday provides the nutritional foundation we so desperately need that is so lacking in our diets today.
Juice Plus+ also has a children's health study. Read more about it here. With the purchase for an adult, by joining the CHS, you will receive nutrition for your child free. Juice Plus + Children's Health Study This can even apply to your child who is in college.
Juice Plus+ is Gluten Free.
Apart from the capsules, the Juice Plus+ contents are Vegan
Safe during pregnancy and for nursing moms!

Thank you so much for your time! A lot of info I know, but health is important to me, and I want you to know as much as possible to make the quality of your life better!
2" Binder Clips
Coordinating Scrapbook Paper
Such an easy, cute craft that can be done in less than an hour. Picking out your design will take longer than putting the craft together!
I measured the scrapbook paper to 3 1/8" to almost 3 1/4" in length and 2" wide. You may have to do one to get it to fit just right before you go and cut all of them. If your binder clips have little swirls at the top, you can slide the scrapbook paper right underneath it so you don't see the edge.
You can use tacky glue and I bet that you could use the spray adhesive. I didn't have any when I put these together.
After you have stuck the scrapbook paper on, feel free to embellish as you wish!
I don't have it shown here, but now you can slide pictures and notes to be held up on the tops of the clips. Maybe I will post that later.
Have Fun! Joelle
I haven't posted in a while due to the remodel in the kitchen (which is at a stand still), Christmas, and my 96 yr old Grama Rose dying. I have spent a little time over the last couple of weeks thinking about spirituality, health and finances, and I'd say they have lead me to what I would like to work on for the new year.
Most of this will be a little rant you might say. I hope not to
offend anybody; it's just stuff I'm passionate about, and want others to realize the impact they can have on their own health and on other's health.
My Grama Rose spent a lot of money to die. I think about what if she had spent a little money to LIVE. She paid $4000 a month for a room, to have someone make her yucky food, and bring her MANY meds that were paid for by her insuranc,e which was paid for by the UMWA. She had 4 different pain killers, 1 muscle relaxer, 2 for constipation, 2 antibiotics, 2 nausea, one for depression, a diuretic, something for an A-Fib, one for high blood pressure, and who knows what else, and she had 1 little measely generic vitamin. I wanted her to spend $75 at the most a month on actual things for her health, but between my mom and grama, they were afraid, afraid of spending the money, and what if it didn't work.
Prior to the nursing home stint, Grama did not take that many meds.
Part of Grama's demise (and people's failures in general), are from being afraid. Fear = Failure/Death (depeding on the circumstances). Grama had a fear of falling. This caused her muscles to get weak; therefore, she couldn't walk and get the blood flowing. This left her body unable to process all of the meds she was taking. It gave her bed sores. She deteriorated a little bit everyday. She complained of something new everyday. They would give her more meds to cover up whatever it was she complained about. "They just wanted her to "be comfortable." I felt like they just didn't want to deal with her. Grama gave up.
People give up all the time on business adventures, cooking, solving family problems, and so on because of fear. Many people say "Oh she lived a good long life," "she's ready to see her hubby," "She's just old" Grama didn't feel this way until she was incapable of taking care of herself. What if she had done things differently? I don't want to wait to see what'll happen if I should have done things differently.
So my new year is about sharing more about natural health care, more healthy food recipes, and including exercise, and working on financial freedom and encouragement to others. Grama was far from a raw foodist, and she ate meat, dairy and sugar - she also struggled with few health things. Grama had money, and had to spend it ALL on a nursing home. I think she would have rather gambled it all away in Wendover!
I do not want to be a health nazi, I just want to make better choices so that when I am 96, I am still ready to live! I love life, and I hope you do too! I am ready and willing to help everyone do things different!
= ) With Love, Joelle
One month ago I partnered in a booth at the Gluten Free Expo, educating people about essential oils and how the digestive aids we carry can help ease some of their tummy troubles. We talked about cleansing and restoring their bodies. I highly recommend hitting one of these expos when they come to town; it is one of my family's favorite events!
The fair I did this weekend was a little bit different, I didn't have a target group, where people who have problems with gluten are a little more familiar and a little more opened minded to alternative health and healing. I didn't know what to expect here. Where I live in a fairly small town, I had expected to see people I had already talked to or expected to hear that they had already heard about it. I was pleasantly surprised. I did talk to quite a few who had heard and wanted to join the Facebook page. I was able to answer questions for them and direct them a bit with product they had. Some people were just flat out not interested, and the best part was how many people I did get to talk to that had never heard of it, and we're willing to look at another way of taking care of their health. It was so exciting.
Since this WAS a craft show, I thought I had better make something by hand. I love crafting. I used organic body cream and added the essential oils to it, and made a luxurious aromatherapy cream. Happy, Holiday, Balanced and Cool. I also made some organic glycerin soaps from Christmas molds. I had a christmas tree, bells, a wreath and a present. They were scented with Peppermint oil, a Holiday blend, and White Fir (I called it Christmas Tree). I also had a trio sample of Peppermint, Lemon and Lavender for sale. These were hot items. I also put together some small samples of "Icy Hot" Rub. Also another hot commodity.
I have already been in contact with some of the people I have talked to and emailed them requested info. It was such a joy to share this info with people. BUT the whole day and half as worn me out. It's a lot of working standing for 7 hours and sharing what you love!
Remember don't let fear hold you back, you will never move forward if you are afraid of failure or change. Take the risk, if you fail, it's ok, you just get up and try again. Just don't forget to get up and learn from your mistakes or find a mentor or people who will encourage you. Do what you love. I was challenged, and I am rising to the occasion, my emotional and physical health are better for it...and to top it all off my finances are better too. In the words of Dani Johnson, "Prosper where you are planted!"
And just when I thought I was going to have time to do some laundry and put a few things away in the half finished kitchen, I was reminded that Thanksgiving is on Thursday, and I have to prepare special food to take to my sister-in-law's house! Oh my, no rest for the one who wants to do everything just right! = )
Soon I will have these goodies on a page for sale.
TGIF! There are so many things to be thankful for - even Friday's! During this time of year we all seem to take little bit of extra time to reflect on the things we are thankful for. All month on Facebook you will see people posting about the people and things they are thankful for. We should be thankful for everything all the time (1 Thes 5:18 Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you who belong to Christ Jesus), BUT I must say it's a good thing, we have things like "November is Be Thankful Month" and a day like Thanksgiving to make us focus a little harder on being thankful! Let's face it,
our lives are so busy; we have thing after thing to do., places to go and people to take care, that we rarely even think of stopping to reflect - and unfortunately it takes bad things to happen before we REALLY get a moment to stop and think how blessed we are..
I for one am thankful for my husband, he has put up with my OCPD (Obsessive Compulsive Personality Disorder); it is different from regular OCD. He put up with my idiosyncrasie.s. We didn't even know why I was the way I was until a few months ago. He could tell something was wrong, but I had been this way for as long as I could remember, and I figured that was who I was, I didn't know different. I would try hard at being different, but I would always fall back to the way I was. For more details about OCPD click here.
This condition is so complicated and so overwhelming I'll wait for another post, but lets just say it held me back in so many ways. If I couldn't do it perfect, why bother?! I was never moving forward. When I finally got a diagnosis.. I read a book called Too Perfect: When being in control is out of control. This was the first step of feeling free (aside from being ill as I read it.) A whole book about me. So Disturbing yet So Validating. BUT not to be used as an excuse. Anyway, I am very thankful for that diagnosis.
I had started with essential oils just before being told I was OCPD. In the quest to succeed with an essential oil bussness, I found a lady called Dani Johnson and watched a few videos of her's. The things she had to say about moving foward and how to "prosper where you are planted" are so profound and inspirational, you can't help but feel different inside. I received her book call "First Steps to Wealth" and again, I felt the urge to move forward and do things differently. All the while, I was taking Life Long Vitality and using their blend of oil called Balance. There has definitely been a shift in thinking and doing. I am soooo very thankful for this. MyEO business is growing and I am doing things I was only considering before.
I am thankful for Dani Johnson and my essential oils. I want to be thankful everyday for the things that go on in my life. So I challenge you to not just be expressive in thanks during November (and/or even Christmas), but to be thankful year-round, and to be vocal about it. It's contagious. Like a smile = )
Share in the comments what you are thankful for and what you will try to do to remember to be thankful more often! Now that was a lot of thanks! Blessings, Joelle
We drink tea, so I kept the tea and electric kettle out, so you will want to keep your coffee, sweetener and coffee maker handy - unless you think this is a good time to give up coffee = ) Although you might take up drinking while the kitchen is under construction. = )

I'm Joelle. I live in Rural Utah. I am married to a wonderful man, and I am a mother of 5. I have so many things I am passionate about; hence the Garden of Goodies. I will usually focus on things that will pertain to health and wealth. I am Gluten Free, Dairy Free and Refined Sugar Free, and any recipes will usually reflect that. I am in love my Essential Oils and will incorporate them in my posts quite often. Jesus is my savior, and he is the one that makes everything in my life possible!
